having antlers wouldn’t be very practical or safe and would probably be very heavy and make sleeping difficult but if a pair were to sprout from my skull suddenly then i would certainly not complain because i’m far from the type to reject generous gifts bestowed on me by the universe
Okay, but in the Deadpool sequel, if they have Spider-Man the actor should rotate between Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland and nobody acknowledges it except for the occasional 4th wall break from Wade
“Please don’t leave.” Clint isn’t sure he’s heard correctly. Natasha’s been in and out of consciousness for a few hours, her green eyes dark and hazy when they’re open at all. “Clint.” Natasha’s voice is smaller than he’s ever heard it, and certainly more vulnerable.
“I’m here,” Clint says, sitting by her bedside once again. Natasha came back from an assignment more messed up than she’s ever been. The SHIELD medics had to do three emergency surgeries to patch her up, and even now they’re not sure she’ll make a full recovery. Clint hasn’t left the hospital since he heard, not even when Fury ordered him to. “I’m here Nat.” Natasha’s eyes don’t open but she exhales deeply and some of the tension leaves her.
“Don’t leave me,” she mumbles. Clint threads his fingers through hers, pressing her knuckles to his lips.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the last series. In this crucial moment you suddenly see Merlin replace his silly man servant persona with the real Emrys. The way Merlin speaks with such quiet, but confident authority, shows how he has become Arthur’s voice of conscience and reason.
Merlin, ever so calm, but powerful and wise. His voice stops the scene and everybody listens. The way Merlin jumps in at the right time and calls him Arthur, as if he is not the king, but his student. You actually see the classic version of Merlin the powerful wizard and mentor and Arthur the protege.
And finally after all their years together, Arthur has learned to trust and respect Merlin. He agrees that Merlin is right. In this brief moment, you see the result of the journeys they have endured and what they have become and experienced together. It is no longer the insecure boy wizard pretending to be a simple fool and the immature and egotistical future crown prince we saw in the first season. It has become a true partnership between the wise and powerful Emrys with the Once and Future King.
For both Colin and Bradley, just phenomenal acting talent. So proud of them.
we talk a lot about the winter soldier trial, but – what about the winter soldier trials?
what about all these murders that other people took the fall for, only now here’s bucky, admitting he did it, and all those innocents have to be let out of jail. some of them have been imprisoned for decades. think about the ambulance chasers persuading them to sue the government that convicted them. not to mention the revelations not of innocence, but of guilt; high-level hydra, or people who just worked with hydra, that bucky can implicate. imagine the 3 am teleconferences at the CIA and FBI to organize these sprawling investigations as it’s revealed how the CEO of this conglomerate really rose to power, and the people this politician has had killed, and who was behind that bombing. then there’s the smaller trials for individual crimes against bucky. a tech who operated the chair, who had been given a light sentence in exchange for information, being arrested anew, this time for torture. think about the upheaval, the famous names dragged through the mud, the institutions that would implode, the paranoia, the baying for blood.
forget about the winter soldier trial. give me the winter soldier legal shitstorm.
